This page explains how to create multimedia presentation within Troubadour CMS. (Tutorial for standalone Player.)

Convert episode to presentation

You can convert existing podcast to a presentetaion by clicking the Troubadour Icon on the right side of the Title. (If you have already created a presentation, logo shows in inverted colours.)

To be able to create presentation (slides combined with audio file), your podcast episode has to have attached 1) one mp3 audio file 2) slides in PDF format one page on a slide. If you haven't already attached needed files, return editing the episode, and attach the files. (It is good idea to leave episode unpublished until you are finished with the presentation.)

If you have attached several files in accepted formats, select the right ones (one of each type), and click "Convert". (If you have done timing in Audacity, you can upload the labels.txt file and have timing ready.

Do the timing

Do the timing by marking change time in format hh:mm:ss.xxx (decimals not necessary), and give short title which showns on presentation table of contents navigation. First slides starts always at 0.

After filling the form, submit changes.

Preview presentation

You can preview unpublished presentation by clicking the title in "Edit" listing. (After changes you may occasionally need to empty your broswer cache to make them visible.)

Publish presentation

Remember to publish the presentation by adding the published selection in normal episode edit form.
